Registered Nurse, Outpatient, Union Specialty Practices, Elkton, MD

ChristianaCare is currently seeking an experienced full-time Registered Nurse for our Specialty Care practices located at Union Hospital in Elkton, MD. This position will provide telephone triage support for our practices in Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, Neurology, and Rheumatology.

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00am-4:30pm
• no weekends or holidays

Position Highlights

• Provides telephone triage support for multiple specialty care practices.
• Applies critical thinking skills to help patient's navigate questions and concerns.
• Provides patient education as needed, facilitates prescription refills, retrieves messages and follows up appropriately.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• A graduate of a state approved or National League of Nursing accredited School of Nursing.
• Two years’ experience as a RN, physician office experience preferred.
• BSN preferred; ADN considered with agreement of completion of BSN in 3 years.

Special Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in the State of Maryland.
• BLS certification required.
